In my opinion, flowchart is to help the person to choose different option than can help interaction stronger and also enhance the design. By doing this, can help the designer to found out the glitches if any along the chart. By laying out accordingly, can easily spotted the structure is it to complicated to understand or lack of function.
Q2 : How will it help your users to meet the interactive goals?
By using a simple and easy to understand flowchart to create the design. Users now want things to be done fast and easy. If the flowchart is too complicated and hard to understand, none of us will use it...... for example : call people, instead of typing the number, can just press from the contact list and call straight away with just pressing few buttons....
What is there more than 2 choices, say i got 3 choices, Apple, Banana, Orange. How does the flowchart map out this solution?

Fruits ->
1.) Apples 2.) Banana 3.) Orange
with these 3 choices will lead to
Item Chosen (Bought)
